Prepare to be fooled when you find yourself gazing at the Lava Coffee Table, which creates the ruse its top was made from molten metal that cooled to form a perfectly flat surface. It is actually made from composite in a polished stainless steel finish. This means the table will be much lighter to move around than its metal counterpart would be. A design detail of note is how the curved iron legs are subtly in sync with the fluted edge of the table top. This piece perfectly reflects the Phillips Collection ethos of modern organic.
