Kincaid Furniture Company refers to itself as “An American Dream Come True,” and this is no exaggeration. J. Wade Kincaid began assembling dresser drawers at the age of 14 for a small furniture company in North Carolina. Deciding he wanted to work for himself, he slowly saved money over time and eventually purchased his own grocery store. But it didn’t take long for him to realize that furniture creation was his true calling, and in 1946 he purchased a small furniture company using $10,000 from his savings and from pooled funds from his family. From these humble beginnings, the Kincaid Furniture Company was brought to life.

For a more transitionally styled rectangular table, we recommend the Modern Rectangular 60 inch Trestle Table. This Table is ideal for those in between spaces that can accommodate a table that comfortably seats six. Shown here in the Latte finish, this solid wood table is stylistically similar to its 80" sibling except that it does not include a leaf. Some will prefer this because it eliminates the joint in the middle of table where a leaf would be. This solid wood dining table features solid Alder which is an ideal wood for tables and cabinetry. The top also features our KinGuard performance top coat. This protective finish helps to protect the finish from common food spills by allowing added time to get things cleaned up.
