Jonathan Charles Fine Furniture is the vision of Jonathan Sowter, an English furniture designer who excels at the art of fine antique reproduction. We design and manufacture the highest-quality European antique replicas as well as our own unique transitional designs, which are distributed to the best shops and interior designers throughout North America, U.K., Spain, Italy, and France, just to name a few.
A sculptural wall-mounted artwork formed from a single repeating geometric element arranged into two vertical columns. Each component is hand painted in antique white, rubbed gold, and a deep lacquered brown, recalling traditional Burmese lacquer-ware finishes. The work feels simultaneously modern and timeless, with subtle references to ancient Asian craftsmanship. A striking focal point for a sophisticated and eclectic environment.
