Hamilton Louden Bruce decided to try his hand at furniture manufacturing in October 1943. Leasing a small building for fifteen dollars a month, he hired two helpers and started to manufacture canvas covered lawn chairs, producing only about 24 chairs a day. Mr. Bruce named the company Hammary, after himself, Hamilton (Ham) and his wife Mary (mary). In 1947, Mr. Bruce dropped the lawn chair line and began to manufacture a group of occasional tables, able to sell $200,000 in orders before even the first sample tables were made at the plant!

In this 106 inch long configuration, the Structures wall system features open shelf display in the center. The shelves are all adjustable and removable.
