Hamilton Louden Bruce decided to try his hand at furniture manufacturing in October 1943. Leasing a small building for fifteen dollars a month, he hired two helpers and started to manufacture canvas covered lawn chairs, producing only about 24 chairs a day. Mr. Bruce named the company Hammary, after himself, Hamilton (Ham) and his wife Mary (mary). In 1947, Mr. Bruce dropped the lawn chair line and began to manufacture a group of occasional tables, able to sell $200,000 in orders before even the first sample tables were made at the plant!

Providing traditional and stylish looks, the Primo III Entertainment Console pairs well in any living space. It provides plenty of storage space, with two doors and one adjustable wood shelf behind each door. Two drawers, one fixed shelf above the drawers. The piece has a center foot for stability and convenient cord exits in the back.
The Primo III collection is a refined collection of occasionaltables designed in the transitional/casual style. The tables feature a Hazel finish on white oak with a reverse diamond pattern on the tops.
