Hamilton Louden Bruce decided to try his hand at furniture manufacturing in October 1943. Leasing a small building for fifteen dollars a month, he hired two helpers and started to manufacture canvas covered lawn chairs, producing only about 24 chairs a day. Mr. Bruce named the company Hammary, after himself, Hamilton (Ham) and his wife Mary (mary). In 1947, Mr. Bruce dropped the lawn chair line and began to manufacture a group of occasional tables, able to sell $200,000 in orders before even the first sample tables were made at the plant!

The Donelson Rectangular End Table coordinates well with the Donelson Coffee Table with the same planked style top and shelf. This end table has one drawer for storage. Some assembly is required.
Donelson is defined by oak veneers in a Vintage Natural Finish featuring oversized balustrade turnings and bracket feet. Traditional elements such as bread board ends. Tops are softened to create a familiar yet current look.
