Today’s Traditional is fusing different design-details together and creating product that is appealing, but understated in form. We looked to the English Traditional category and pulled bracket feet, contrasting inlays and architecture for Lafayette Square. In developing our color with Sherwin Williams, we captured the subtle textures of the wire-brushed White oak and poplar solids graining with our hand-applied Greystone finish. The coloration is both grey and brown, adding richness with hand-burnishing and a soft cream glazing. We selected a pipe-inspired design for the drawer pulls that is finished in burnished copper.
The Veneer panel bed feature a stately crown with a waterfall edge profile that runs all the way from floor to top. The mouldings offer an inset-corner to capture the same detail as the drawers on the cases. We offer a tufted fabric headboard that is trimmed in decorative nails for a softer approach to bedding.
The 68” dresser features 7 drawers, with a jewelry tray in the top, while the lower drawers use aromatic cedar bottoms. A 5-drawer chest with the lower drawer of aromatic cedar. . A functional Nightstand with 2-drawers and a wireless charging device mounted under the veneer top. A USB port on the back allows for charging a tablet or other device. All drawers are made with solid wood drawer boxes and English dovetail construction. The 45mm full-extension slides offer the best and most smooth glides available in furniture.
