FD Home Parson Creek II 7pc Rectangular Dining Room Set in Black 4418
Relaxed/ Casual Farmhouse with more modern functions. Made with White Oak veneer and brushed Poplar solids, we added square peg tenon construction where all the rails join to the front posts. The fronts are made with recessed beads around each drawer and then we framed the drawer fronts with another beaded detail to show more weight in the details. We hand-applied the Cinder finish with black glaze, weathered through to show the warm wood-tone base color that accentuates the wood graining. We complete the finishing with 2 coats of satin lacquer to show the depth of the black and warm oak. The hardware is simple, a thin bar pull with rounded profile is finished in antiqued copper
The Dining table is simple but elegant. With parson legs the top is functional with a self-storing butterfly leaf of 23”, allowing the table to extend from 72” to 95”. The Dining Chairs are made with vertical slats and have webbed and padded seats for comfort. A Dining bench is offered with the same cushion construction. The Sideboard is unique with asymmetric design and a display shelf below a tempered glass insert in the top frame. A silver tray is located in the top drawer and adjustable shelf, behind the doors for bulk storage. All drawers are made with ½” drawer boxes and English dovetail construction. The 45mm full-extension slides offer the best, smooth glides available in furniture.
