FD Home Abington Sideboard in Coffee 4560-09 Traditional product is all about subtle-detailing and modern conveniences. The Abington product is made with mis-matched white oak veneers and Poplar solids. The all Sherwin Williams finish system is hand applied over 14 steps. The finish is called “Linville Oak”, where we start with light durostain to pop the grain and then hand-glaze the product to rub the finish into the wood. After 12 steps, we add a soft powder glaze to enhance the wood and complete with 2 top coats of satin lacquer. The Vintage Tin hardware is a nice accent of color. Top drawers are trimmed with a round knob, while we use a tapered-round bar pull for the lower drawers.
