Relaxed/ Casual Farmhouse with more modern functions. Made with White Oak veneer and brushed Poplar solids, we added square peg tenon construction where all the rails join to the front posts. The fronts are made with recessed beads around each drawer and then we framed the drawer fronts with another beaded detail to show more weight in the details. We hand-applied the Milk-Paint finish with glazes and stains to accentuate the wood grains. One of the last steps is a cream powder glaze, which hangs in the pore of the wood and adds softness to the deep graining. The hardware is simple, a thin bar pull with rounded profile is finished in antiqued copper.
