The beige linen blend upholstery on our queen-sized Ipswich Modern Upholstered Headboard covers foam padding and an underlying wooden frame. Seeing that this is a platform bed, a box spring is not needed; wooden slats (included) provide similar support. This modern bed also features a winged headboard with silver nail head trim and button tufting. Black wooden legs with non-marking feet complete this Chinese-built design. The Ipswich Contemporary Bed is also available in king size in beige and as well as queen size in dark gray linen (each sold separately). Spot clean only. Assembly is required.
